Abstract

La presente invención presenta métodos y composiciones para tratar zonas subterráneas penetradas por pozos utilizando fluidos viscosos ambientalmente seguros. Un método de acuerdo con la presente invención comprende los siguientes pasos. Se produce una composición de fluido de tratamiento viscoso, que comprende agua, un polímero reforzador de la viscosidad y un reductor de la viscosidad polimérica retardado hidrosoluble y ambientalmente seguro, que comprende una mezcla de perborato de sodio tetrahidrato y un compuesto formador de complejo o éster de boro para aumentar la solubilidad. Se introduce la composición de fluido tratante viscoso en la zona subterránea, donde se deja que el fluido tratante viscoso se disocie transformándose en un fluido diluido de viscosidad reducida.
