Abstract

Guarnición de casco con forma de herradura, hecha de material plástico con una superficie de andadura provista con cuerpos en forma de perfiles, cuyas dos alas, con el objeto de ajustar la distancia entre las mismas en función del tamaño del casco, pueden ser vinculados entre sí mediante por lo menos un alma de vinculación separada de tipo pieza de ajuste, de material plástico, el cual alma puede ser llevada a un acoplamiento con las alas en la zona de sus extremos de manera de alejarlas o acercarlas entre sí, estando el alma de vinculación, también denominada "puente", configurada de una sola capa (puente simple) o de varias capas (puente doble); y los extremos laterales del alma encajan en escotaduras en forma de protuberancias aplanadas previstas en las alas, a efectos de vincular entre sí los extremos de las alas de manera de poner en un contacto esencialmente estrecho las superficies en contacto y de asegurar la transmisión de las fuerzas mecánicas. El canto de borde (9) del alma de vinculación (4) situado en la dirección del extremo cerrado de la guarnición de casco forma una prolongación superior (10) del alma de vinculación que forma con dicha alma un todo integrado, en forma de cuña y que recubre en un área amplia del casco, y el canto de borde (11) del alma de vinculación (4) situado opuestamente en la dirección de la abertura de la guarnición de casco, forma una prolongación inferior (12) cónica del alma de vinculación.
