Abstract

Un nucleo absorbente unitario, proceso para la produccion de dicho nucleo, material o estructura no tejido parcialmente fibroso o no fibroso respirable. El nucleo absorbente unitario presenta un peso base de alrededor de 75 gm2 o mayor, que comprende una capa absorbente fibrosa que presenta una superficie receptora de fluido superior y una superficie inferior con una barrera de humedad transmisora de vapor hidrofobica integral con la superficie inferior de la capa absorbente. También se revela un proceso para la produccion de un nucleo absorbente unitario, incluyendo los pasos a) producir una capa absorbente fibrosa que presente superficie superior e inferior, y b) aplicar a la superficie inferior de la capa absorbente fibrosa un material hidrofobico el cual al menos cubre parcialmente al menos algunas de las fibras de la superficie inferior de la capa absorbente.
