Abstract
Se revelan procesos y aparatos para convertir de forma cuantitativa urea en amoníaco siguiendo la demanda. Uno de los procesos incluye los siguientes pasos: recibir una senal de velocidad de demanda de amoníaco; introducir reactivos que incluyen urea y agua en un reactor de manera de proveer una mezcla de reaccion; y controlar la temperatura y la presion en el reactor con el proposito de producir una corriente de producto gaseoso que incluye amoníaco y dioxido de carbono con concentraciones sustancialmente constantes. Otros de los procesos incluye los siguientes pasos: introducir urea fundida o solida en un reactor; introducir agua (líquida o vapor) en el reactor; y hacer reaccionar la urea y el agua bajo una temperatura y presion elevadas de manera de formar una corriente de producto gaseoso que incluye amoníaco y dioxido de carbono.
