Abstract
Un método y disposicion de acuerdo con la invencion selecciona el esquema de codificacion y modulacion MCS sobre un canal compartido de enlace descendente no controlado por potencia (DSCH) basado sobre la cantidad de potencia de transmision asignada al canal físico dedicado de enlace descendente (DPCH) correspondiente a la estacion movil que actualiza actualmente el DSCH. Cada estacion movil en el sistema que participa en compartir el DSCH tiene acceso a un DPCH asociado. El DSCH se comparte de algun modo entre los usuarios, por ejemplo, a modo de division de tiempo, en donde un usuario a la vez utiliza los recursos, y no se encuentra controlado por potencia por ninguno de los usuarios. En una realizacion preferida, el procedimiento de seleccionar un esquema de codificacion y modulacion MCS apropiado para el DSCH como una funcion del nivel de potencia sobre el DPCH asociado con el usuario que se encuentra actualmente utilizando el DSCH se repite cada vez que cambia la potencia transmitida del DPCH asociado.
