Abstract

Se refiere a un dispositivo para aplicar una formulacion pesticida líquida a una superficie externa de un animal doméstico; el dispositivo comprende una entrada y una pluralidad de salidas espaciadas aparte, donde el dispositivo está adaptado de manera tal que cuando el medio del dispositivo está posicionado sustancialmente arriba de la espina dorsal del animal, al menos una salida está posicionada sustancialmente sobre cada flanco del animal. La invencion también se refiere a un método para el tratamiento o profilaxis de las infestaciones por parásitos, incluyendo infestaciones de ectoparásitos y/o endoparásitos, de animales domésticos que comprende administrar en forma topica a dicho animal una formulacion pesticida por derrame en la superficie externa de un animal que se extiende desde un costado al costado opuesto.
