Abstract
Un stent para insercion dentro de un vaso sanguíneo se hace a partir de una lámina que tiene un eje longitudinal y una primera porcion y una segunda porcion. La primera porcion tiene un extremo proximal y un extremo distal y un primer lado lateral y un segundo lado lateral con los lados laterales de la primera porcion substancialmente paralelos al eje longitudinal y dispuestos separados entre sí por una primera distancia. La segunda porcion tiene un extremo proximal y un extremo distal y un primer lado lateral y un segundo lado lateral con los lados laterales de la segunda porcion substancialmente paralelos al eje longitudinal y dispuestos separados entre sí por una segunda distancia que es menor que la primera distancia. El extremo proximal de la segunda porcion se comunica con el extremo distal de la primera porcion. El primer lado lateral de la primera porcion se conecta al segundo lado lateral de la primera porcion y el primer lado lateral de la segunda porcion se conecta al segundo lado lateral de la segunda porcion para formar el stent. Una porcion del extremo distal de la primera porcion y una porcion del extremo proximal de la segunda porcion definen una abertura de rama lateral.
