Abstract

Una composicion de aceites lubricantes y métodos para estabilizar contra degradacion oxidativa y para mejorar la economía de combustibles de una composicion lubricante. La composicion de aceite lubricante comprende un stock base y un antioxidante que comprende un compuesto de organomolibdeno trinuclear soluble en aceite de la formula genérica: Mo3Sx-(Q), donde x es de 4 a 10, y Q es un grupo principal, que puede ser un ligando, y por lo menos otro compuesto seleccionado de un compuesto fenolico y uno amínico, donde el stock base tiene una viscosidad cinemática a 100 degree C (KV100) de 2 cSt a 20 cSt (2 x 10-6 a 20 x 10-6 m2/seg) y un contenido de saturados de por lo menos 85%. La composicion tiene una alta estabilidad de oxidacion, una formacion de depositos reducida y es capaz de causar una buena mejora en la economía de combustible. The lubricating oil composition comprises a base stock and an antioxidant comprising an oil-soluble trinuclear organomolibdene compound of the generic formula: Mo3Sx- (Q), where x is 4 to 10, and Q is a major group, which can be a ligand, and at least one other compound selected from a phenolic and an amino compound, where the base stock has a kinematic viscosity at 100 degree C (KV100) of 2 cSt at 20 cSt (2 x 10-6 at 20 x 10 -6 m2 / sec) and a saturated content of at least 85%. The composition has a high oxidation stability, a reduced deposit formation and is capable of causing a good improvement in fuel economy. The methods for stabilizing against oxidative degradation or for improving the fuel economy of a lubricating composition, wherein said composition comprises a base stock having a kinematic viscosity at 100 degree C (KV100) of 2 cSt at 20 cSt (2 x 10-6 at 20 x 10-6 m2 / sec) and a saturated content of at least 85%, comprise adding to the base stock an effective amount of the antioxidant comprising the oil-soluble trinuclear organomolibdene compound and at least one other selected compound between a phenolic compound and an amino compound.
