Abstract
Una aguja de electrodo con filamento activo de radiofrecuencia para el tratamiento de tumores parenquimatosos mediante la hipertemia intersticial inducida por radiofrecuencia, la cual comprende: una aguja guía hueca y un filamento activo de radiofrecuencia, enroscado en la aguja, que puede conectarse a un generador de radiofrecuencia y que es capaz de realizar movimientos axiales entre una posicion inactiva, retraída hacia el interior de la aguja, y una posicion activa, de proyeccion de un segmento terminal del filamento, desde el extremo distal de la aguja, caracterizada porque el citado segmento terminal del filamento tiene una forma tal que le permite pasar de una forma rectilínea -cuando el filamento está en la posicion retraída en el interior de la aguja- a una forma espiralada - cuando el filamento está en la posicion activa hacia adelante.
