Abstract

Un método para introducir multiples genes concurrentemente en plantas y árboles. El método incluye la transformacion simultánea de plantas con multiples genes de la via de fenilpropanoide que incluye los genes 4CL, CA1d5H, AldOMT, SAD y CAD y combinaciones de los mismos para producir varias líneas de plantas transgénicas que exhiben características agronomicas alteradas. Las características agronomicas de las plantas están reguladas por la orientacion de los genes específicos y las combinaciones de genes seleccionadas, las cuales se incorporan en el genoma de las plantas
