Abstract
Un procedimiento para producir un cable, en particular para la transmision o distribucion de energía eléctrica de medio o alta tension. Dicho procedimiento consiste en producir al menos un revestimiento de dicho cable, de un material polímero termoplástico orientado, y dicho material polímero termoplástico comprende un homopolímero de propileno o un copolímero de propileno y comonomero olefínico seleccionado. En detalle, este procedimiento consiste en alimentar al menos un conductor de dicho cable, en una máquina de extrusion, extruir dicho al menos un revestimiento en una posicion radialmente externa con respecto a dicho al menos un conductor, y orientar dicho al menos un revestimiento durante la etapa de extrusion. Un cable, en particular para la transmision o distribucion de energía eléctrica de media o alta tension, provisto de un revestimiento de material polímero termoplástico orientado.
