Abstract

La presente se refiere a un explosivo de base acuosa cuyas propiedades de detonación son similares a las de la dinamita. Se trata de un explosivo emulsionado formado al mezclar una fase emulsionada con partículas moldeadas. La fase emulsionada está formada por una fase continua de combustible orgánico líquido, una fase discontinua de una solución oxidante inorgánica de nitrato de amonio y agua y un agente emulsivo. Las partículas moldeadas se componen de una mezcla formada por perclorato de sodio anhidro, agua y dietilenglicol. Las partículas moldeadas pueden agregarse a la fase emulsionada antes de que estén totalmente curadas, y por lo tanto con una sensibilidad menor que en su estado final.
