Abstract

Se refiere a un artículo absorbente para absorber fluidos y exudados tal como la orina. Más particularmente, la presente se refiere a prendas absorbentes las cuales están configuradas para absorber los exudados del cuerpo mientras que también ayudan a reducir la humedad relativa en el ambiente del artículo, a reducir el contacto de la piel con el exudado y a reducir la hidratación indeseada de la piel. La presente se refiere a un artículo absorbente que tiene una sección de cintura frontal, una sección de cintura posterior, y una sección intermedia la cual interconecta dichas secciones de cintura frontal y posterior. Una realización de la presente generalmente incluye una hoja superior; una hoja inferior; un material absorbente que contiene por lo menos en parte un material superabsorbente y un segundo material. Una o más regiones del artículo contienen menos material absorbente que otras regiones del artículo, y el segundo material está colocado en por lo menos una de una o más regiones de artículo las cuales contienen menos material absorbente.
