Abstract

Un material de capa termoplástico tiene por lo menos una superficie reductora de olor la cual se trata con un agente de control de olor a base de ácido carboxílico, y la cual es capaz de soportar descargas con un líquido acuoso. El agente de control de olor a base de ácido está unido al material de capa por un aglutinante de polímero de organosilicona. El aglutinante es insoluble en agua y puede formar un recubrimiento altamente permeable al gas. El aglutinante también es altamente poroso, como para exponer el agente de control de olor al amoníaco y otros gases odoríferos los cuales se intenta controlar.
