Abstract
Uso de una cantidad terapéuticamente eficaz de una composición que comprende por lo menos un compuesto para la fabricación de un medicamento que promueve la regeneración de las neuronas o las excrecencias neuríticas para el tratamiento de xeroftalmía en las lesiones de los nervios corneales. Dichos trastornos son resultantes de lesiones en el nervio corneal después de LASIK y otras cirugías o traumas oculares. Los compuestos utilizados se pueden seleccionar del grupo que consiste en propentofilina, AIT-082 (neotrofina), idebenona, ONO-2506, CB-1093, NS521 (1-(1-butil)-4-(2-oxo-1-benzimidazona), piperidina, eliprodil, SR57746A (clorhidrato de xaliproden) o análogos de los mismos farmacéuticamente aceptables.Use of a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising at least one compound for the manufacture of a medicament that promotes the regeneration of neurons or neuritic excrescences for the treatment of xerophthalmia in corneal nerve lesions. The compounds used can be selected from the group consisting of propentophilin, AIT-082 (neotrophin), idebenone, ONO-2506, CB-1093, NS521 (1- (1-butyl) -4- (2-oxo-1-benzimidazone) ), piperidine, eliprodil, SR57746A (xaliproden hydrochloride) or pharmaceutically acceptable analogs thereof.
