Abstract

Se describe un método y dispositivo para grabar volúmenes de información múltiple en un portador de grabación, usualmente llamado, grabación de sesión múltiple. El dispositivo incluye una unidad de mapeo (31) para abrir una sesión mediante la grabación de datos de ingreso comprendiendo una primera zona de separador al principio de la zona de inicio del volumen, y un bloque de control de sesión (SDCB) en un área en blanco restante de la zona de inicio después de la zona de separador. El bloque de control de sesión comprende datos de volumen indicativos de estado y contenidos de la sesión. La sesión es cerrada por datos de control de cierre de sesión indicando que el volumen de información se cierra en el área en blanco restante, y los datos de cierre después de la última información del usuario grabada en la zona de datos para constituir la zona de finalización del volumen. Además el dispositivo posee una unidad de detección (32) para recuperar el bloque de sesión de control de dicha zona de inicio.
