Abstract

Abridor para un barreno de grano, plantadora o implemento agrícola similar que deposita material tal como semilla, o fertilizante en el surco y luego cierra el surco. Conjunto abridor que incluye un solo disco abridor soportado rotatoriamente desde una barra de tiro y ubicado en un ángulo de aproximadamente cinco grados de la dirección hacia delante para definir un área de sombra detrás de la superficie trasera del disco. Una caja para colocar material y un tubo de entrega son soportados adyacentes a la superficie trasera sustancialmente en su totalidad dentro de la sombra del disco y tienen perfiles que se conforman al perfil del surco. La caja y la porción de salida del tubo también yacen dentro de la periferia del disco con fines de protección. El tubo tiene una porción superior con una sección transversal redonda que cambia a una sección transversal elíptica hacia la salida para permanecer dentro de la sombra mientras se retienen altas capacidades de producción. Ruedas primera y segunda están soportadas sobre lados opuestos del disco para empujar el suelo hacia abajo detrás de la salida del tubo de entrega inmediatamente después que el material es depositado. La acción inmediata del suelo provocada por las ruedas poco espaciadas empuja el material al fondo del surco e impide que el material rebote para obtener una profundidad de material más constante. Un brazo de rueda liviano, corto, sobre el lado trasero del disco abridor reduce la longitud y el peso del conjunto, y el empuje de la rueda hacia el suelo es efectuado principalmente por acción de resorte en vez que por el peso para obtener una rápida respuesta a los contornos del suelo. La rueda del lado delantero del disco abridor en ángulo está soportada detrás del eje geométrico del disco por un conjunto de brazo que provee ajuste de profundidad desde el extremo delantero de la barra de tiro. Las ruedas y el disco están en ángulo, generalmente en la misma dirección, para manipular los desperdicios.
