Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a tampones absorbentes. Más particularmente, la invención se refiere a un tampón absorbente mejorado que tiene una velocidad de adquisición de líquido mejorada sin una reducción en las características de capacidad o retención de líquido. Esto se logra mediante un tampón absorbente que comprende una estructura en capas de capas de rayón y algodón. El parche de taponar para tampón de la presente invención está en la forma de una almohadilla laminar de capas separadas. El parche de taponar comprende por lo menos una capa superior, una capa inferior, y por lo menos una capa intermedia colocada entre la capa superior y la capa inferior. La capa superior y la capa inferior cada una está compuesta principalmente de rayón. Por lo menos una capa intermedia está compuesta principalmente de algodón. En un aspecto particular de la invención, las capas exteriores (i.e., la capa superior y la capa inferior) están compuestas de por lo menos 60% aproximadamente de rayón, más preferiblemente 90% aproximadamente de rayón, y más preferiblemente aún totalmente de rayón. En otro aspecto de la invención por lo menos una capa intermedia está compuesta de por lo menos 60% aproximadamente de algodón, más preferiblemente por lo menos 90% aproximadamente de algodón, y más preferiblemente aún totalmente de algodón.
