Polímero termoplástico con cada vez uno o varios grupos funcionales recurrentes en la cadena principal polímera y que tienen la estructura: -(R1)x - C(O) - (R2)y, en donde: x, y: significan, independientemente, 0 o 1, ascendiendo x + y = 1 o 2; y R1, R2: significan, independientemente, oxígeno o nitrógeno ligado en la cadena principal polímera, cuyo procedimiento está caracterizado porque el número de por lo menos una especie de grupos terminales reactivos (EG) de la cadena principal polímera, con respecto a la suma de todas estas especies de grupos terminales reactivos de la cadena principal polímera, corresponde a la inecuación: EG < (12 * log (Mw) - E) meq/kg, en la que: Mw: significa el peso molecular medio ponderal según DIN 55672-2, E: es 20.
