Abstract
Un aparato de sonido reducido y enfriamiento incrementado para un dispositivo que incluye un alojamiento (10) que forma una cámara (13) alrededor de unmotor (11). El eje (12) del motor (11) contiene un ventilador (40) colocado en una cámara (38)form ada por una cavidad (36) cortada en un bloque de espuma (35). El ventilador (40) jala aire hacia la cámara (13) a través de las aberturas de entrada (33) en el alojamiento (10) y este aire es dirigido al motor (11) paraenfriarlo. El aire saledel ven tilador (40) de manera generalmente radial contra una superficie angulada (37) de la cavidad (36) del bloque de espuma (35). Elaire es entonces recibido en un pasaje difusor (41) definido por la superficie angulada (37) y una superficieangulada (42) de una placa reductora (19)colocada encima del bloque de espuma (35). El pasaje difusor (41) reduce la velocidad del aire para ayudar al bloque de espuma (35) a absorber el ruidogenerado por éste, y al mismo tiempo reducir la presionen la salida de l ventilador (40) para incrementar el flujo de aire de enfriamiento que pasa al motor(11). El aire pasa entonces del pasaje difusor (41) a una cámara impelente (43) localizada encima del bloque de espuma (35) y hacia afuera de lasranurasalargadas (2 6) formadas en el fondo del alojamiento (10).
