Abstract

Se describe un proceso para preparar un poliéter hidroxi funcional termoplástico a base de almidon, que comprende (1) alimentar de 40 a 98% en peso dealmidon y de 2 a 60% en peso de un poliéter hidroxifuncional termoplástico derivado de monomeros quecontienen uno o más grupos epoxi a un equipo deprocesamiento a una temperatura y durante un tiempo suficientes para proporcionar una mezcla combinada de los componentes, y después (2) formar la mezclacombinada a pellas. Las pellas son adecuadas paraproceso de moldeo por inyeccion y otros procesos térmicos.
