Abstract
Un nuevo material cristalino poroso sintético, designado MCM-68, un método y un nuevo cation orgánico policíclico para su preparacion y su uso en laconversion catalítica de compuestos orgánicos. El nuevo material cristalino exhibe un diagrama dedifr accion de rayos X distintivo y tiene una singularestructura cristalina que contiene por lo menos un sistema de canales, en el cual cada canal está definido por un anillo de 12 miembros de átomostetrahédricamente coordinados, y por lo menos dossistem as de canales adicionales independientes en cada uno de los cuales cada canal está definido por unanillo de 10 miembros de átomos tetrahédricamente coordinados, siendo el numero de canales de anillo de 12 miembros.
