Abstract
Una lente de contacto y un método y aparato para fabricar una lente de contacto que tiene áreas de diferente espesor, lente de contacto que está compensadapor el encogimiento diferencial producido durante el proceso de fabricacion. El desplazamientoangular del eje del cilindro debido al encogimiento diferencialse compensa mediante la introduccion de un desplazamiento igual y opuesto durante el proceso de fabricacion. El desplazamiento axial provocado por undeterminado proceso de fabricacion sedetermina experimentalmente, es decir, para cada eje de cilindro pretendido, se determina el desplazamientocorrespondiente. La compensacion de la lente se ejecuta ajustando el proceso de fabricacion de manera que una vez curada, la lente correspondaa la lenteprescrita deseada sin desplazamiento axial alguno.
