Abstract
Se ha desarrollado y ahora es muy utilizado, un método para la represion de insectos mediante fumigacion térmica, que comprende sumergir una parte deuna mecha porosa absorbente en un preparado insecticida líquido, con lo que el preparado se absorbe en la mezcla y calentar la parte superior dela mezcla, fumigándose así el preparado absorbido. El llamado preparado insecticida acuoso, que comprende un disolvente acuoso y un componente insecticidadisuelto en el disolvente, ha sido usado hasta ahoraen la práctica como preparado insecticida líquido para el método, debido a su falta deinflamabilidad. El método para la represion de insectos mediante fumigacion térmica se distingue por su simplicidad.
