Abstract

Se describe la produccion recombinante de Gap4, una proteína GapC de union plasmina quimérica, que comprende la secuencia de aminoácidos completa de la proteína GapC de Streptococcus dysgalactiae además de secuencias de aminoácidos exclusivas de proteínas GapC de Streptococcus parauberis y Streptococcus agalactiae. También se describe el uso de una proteína Gap4, quimérica de GapC en composiciones de vacunas con el fin de prevenir o tratar infecciones o tratar infecciones por estreptococos en general y mastitis en particular.
