Abstract
La presente invencion reivindica y describe una composicion farmacéutica adecuada para la administracion oral, en forma de un pre-concentrado en emulsion,que comprende (i) uno o más NSAID liberadores de ON; (ii) uno o más surfactantes; (iii) optativa mente un aceite o grasa semi-solida; formando dicha composicionuna emulsion de aceite en agua in situ luego del contacto con fluidos gastrointestinales. La composicion puede comprender también optativamente uno o másalcoholes de cadena corta. Además, dentro del alcance de la invencion se encuentra una combinacion con un inhibidor del bombeo de protones. La composicionfarmacéutica es util en el tratamiento del dolor y la inflamacion. Adicionalmente, dentro del alcance de la invencion se encuentra un kit que comprende unacomposicion farmacéutica de acuerdo con la invencion en una forma de dosificacion unitaria, en combinacion con un inhibidor del bombeo de protones, y dichoinhibidor del bombeo de protones tiene revestimiento entérico.The present invention claims and describes a pharmaceutical composition suitable for oral administration, in the form of an emulsion pre-concentrate, comprising (i) one or more NSAIDs releasing ON; (ii) one or more surfactants; (iii) optionally a semi-solid oil or grease; said composition forming an oil-in-water emulsion in situ after contact with gastrointestinal fluids. The composition may also optionally comprise one or more short chain alcohols. In addition, a combination with a proton pump inhibitor is within the scope of the invention. The pharmaceutical composition is useful in the treatment of pain and inflammation. Additionally, within the scope of the invention there is a kit comprising a pharmaceutical composition according to the invention in a unit dosage form, in combination with a proton pump inhibitor, and said proton pump inhibitor has an enteric coating.
