Abstract
Un conjunto quemador para un horno o dispositivo similar con una caja de fuego que define una zona de combustion. El conjunto quemador incluye un primerbloque anular que define una trayectoria central para un flujo de aire comburente y un segundo blo que anular concéntrico con el primero. El segundo bloqueanular posee un diámetro interno mayor que el diámetro externo de dicho primer bloque anular. El segundo bloque anular rodea por lo menos una porcion de dichoprimer bloque anular de manera que s e defina entre ellos un conducto en forma de anillo. Los bloques están adaptados para colocarse en la zona de combustiondel horno estando el conducto en comunicacion directa de fluidos con los gases de combustion que rodean la zona de combustion. La disposicion es tal que elaire comburente que fluye a lo largo de dicha trayectoria induce un flujo de gas de combustion a través del conducto para arrastrarlo mediante el flujo de airecomburente. El conjunto puede además incluir un inyector de gas di spuesto en posicion adyacente a una entrada a dicho conducto proporcionando un flujo de gaspara mezclarlo con dicho flujo de gas de combustion. Asimismo se revela un método por medio del cual el conjunto quemador es empleado para introducir conductod e gas de combustion reciclado RFG en al zona de combustion para reducir en consecuencia de un modo eficaz y efectivo el contenido de NOx del gas combustibledel horno producido cuando el aire y el combustible fluido son quemados en una zona de combust ion del horno.
