Los compuestos de formula (1) son agentes antibacterianos y antiprotozooarios que pueden utili zarse para tratar infecciones bacterianas yprotozooarias y enfermedades relacionadas con dichas infecciones. Se divulgan también composiciones farmacéuticas que contienen los compuestos de formula (1) yprocedimientos para tratar infecciones bacterian as y protozooarias mediante la administracion de los compuestos de formula (1).
