Abstract
Un compuesto surfactante amídico de formula 1: R1-CO-NR2R3 (1) en donde R1 es un grupo hidrofobo polimérico; R2 es un grupo CH2-(CHOR4)n-CH2OR4 en donde nes de 4 a 6 y R4 es hidrogeno, alquilo C1-6 o un residuo sacárido, conteniendo al menos 2grupo s hidroxilo libres; y R3 es hidrogeno, hidrocarbilo C1-22,alquilo sustituido, o bien R3 es independientemente como se ha definido con anterioridad para R2. Tales compuestos son utiles como emulsionantes y/oestabilizantes para emulsiones deagua en ac eite o como dispersantes para solidos en líquidos acuosos o no acuosos. Aplicaciones de uso final particularesincluyen el uso de tales compuestos como emulsionantes. Estabilizantes o dispersantes en la preparacion de poliacrilamida;particularmente e n el tratamiento deaguas; en la polimerizacion en emulsion en fase inversa; en explosivos en emulsion; en composiciones de higiene personal que incluyen una fase acuosa dispersao emulsionada en una fase oleosa; en emulsiones odispersiones agroquímic as; en fluidos de perforacion de fase inversa; en emulsiones y concentrados de aceitepara laminacion; y en emulsiones y concentrados de fluidos para operaciones de corte.An amide surfactant compound of formula 1: R1-CO-NR2R3 (1) wherein R1 is a polymeric hydrophobic group; R2 is a CH2- (CHOR4) n-CH2OR4 group in which nes of 4 to 6 and R4 is hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl or a saccharide residue, containing at least 2g free hydroxyl groups; and R3 is hydrogen, C1-22 hydrocarbyl, substituted alkyl, or R3 is independently as defined above for R2. Such compounds are useful as emulsifiers and / or stabilizers for water emulsions in oil or as dispersants for solids in aqueous or non-aqueous liquids. Particular end-use applications include the use of such compounds as emulsifiers. Stabilizers or dispersants in the preparation of polyacrylamide, particularly in the treatment of water; in emulsion polymerization in reverse phase; in explosives in emulsion; in personal hygiene compositions that include an aqueous phase dispersed or emulsified in an oil phase; in emulsions or agrochemical dispersions; in reverse phase drilling fluids; in emulsions and oil concentrates for lamination; and in emulsions and fluid concentrates for cutting operations.
