Abstract

Un método para cambiar la longitud de un chorro coherente estableciendo un chorro coherente usando una envoltura de flama generada usando combustiblegaseoso y cambiando el gasto del combustible gaseoso, preferiblemente usando gas inerte parareposici on para mantener un gasto total constante de combustible ygas inerte. El método consiste en: a) proporcionar gas principal a un gasto de gas principal, proporcionar combustible gaseoso a un primer gasto de combustiblegaseoso, y quemar elcombustible gaseoso con oxidante para formar una envoltura de flama coaxial con la corriente de gas principal para establecer un chorrocoherente que tenga una primera longitud; y después b) proporcionar gas principal a un gasto de gas principal,proporcionar com bustible gaseoso a un segundogasto de combustible gaseoso que difiere del primer gasto de combustible gaseoso, y quemar el combustible gaseoso con oxidante para formar una envoltura deflama con la corriente de gas principal paraestablecer un chorro coherente que tenga una longitud que difiera de la primera longitud.
