Abstract

La presente toalla sanitaria es delgada (con un grosor de menos de 4mm), altamente absorbente y tiene una resistencia a la flexion que provee deformacioncontrolada cuando está en uso, a saber, la suposicion de un patron en W (adecuado para el rendimiento de absorcion) o un patron en M (el cual mejora elconfort); esta deformacion controlada provee un buen potencial de confort y reduce simultáneamente la probabilidad de abultamiento debido a lasfuerzas de compresion ejercidas lateralmente contra la toalla sanitaria por los muslos del usuario; la toalla sanitaria se caracteriza por una resistencia a laflexion de no menos de aproximadamente 400g; la toalla sanitaria tiene una capa de cubierta, una capa de barrera y un sistema absorbente que tiene por lo menosuna zona de flexion preferente que permite que la toalla adopte cierto perfil de deformacion tridimensional en respuesta a la comprension lateral.
