Abstract
Se describen cuerpos que contienen polímeros superabsorbentes, del tipo que contienen polímeros superabsorbentes ligados con fibras polímeras, estando lospolímeros superabsorbentes presentes al menos en parte como espuma microporosa de celdasabiert as. El procedimiento para su fabricacion comprende las etapasde: a) mezclar un polímero superabsorbente reticulable con un solvente para formar una solucion de polímero superabsorbente, la cual puede ser separada enfases; y embeber a lasfibras p olímeras con dicha solucion; b)inducir una separacion de fases de la solucion de polímero superabsorbente en una faseenriquecida en polímero, que contiene fibras, y en una fase empobrecida en polímero; c) reticular al polímerosuperabsorbe nte en la fase enriquecida enpolímero que contiene fibras durante la separacion de fases para conformar una espuma microporosa de celdas abiertas en las fibras, y d) secar al cuerpo asíproducido que contiene polímero superabsorbenteobteniendo una e structura microporosa de celdas abiertas en el polímero superabsorbente. Un cuerpomultilaminar contiene dicho cuerpo entre una lámina superior permeable a los líquidos y una lámina inferior impermeable a los líquidos. Loscuerpos sonempleado s para la fabricacion de panales, toallas, tampones y otros artículos higiénicos. Un cuerpo multilaminar contiene dicho cuerpo entre una láminasuperior permeable a los líquidos y una lámian inferior impermeable a los líquidos.Los cuerpos son empleados para la fabricacion de panales, toallas,tampones y otros artículos higiénicos.
