Abstract

Productos protectores absorbentes para la higiene femenina tales como toallas sanitarias que tienen medios conformadores en sus regiones extremasque facilitan la capacidad del producto para adaptarse estrechamente y conformarse alcuer po durante el uso, resisten el abultamiento transversal yevitan el derrame de fluido desde los bordes; el medio conformador consiste de un elemento endurecido y una region no endurecida inmediatamente adyacenteal elemento endurecido quecooperan para doblarlo, adaptarlo y conformarlo: el elemento endurecido, tal como un canal realzado o regiones que son rígidas,densificadas o reforzadas, se dobla a lo largo de su eje de flexion y resiste la flexion y la compresion ortogonal aese eje; la region no endurecida yrelativamente no constrenida se expande hacia afuera para adaptarse y conformarse al cuerpo; la region central de la toalla puede conteneropcionalmente un medio endurecedor tal como un material extraabsorbente, un inserto que contiene musgo de esfagninea y canal realzado; el medioendurecedor de la region central está separado del elemento endurecido de la region extrema; el producto absorbente puede tener también opcionalmentesalientes,otener opcionalme nte alas que envuelvan la prenda interior, en donde dichas salientes o alas cooperan con el medio conformador para proveercobertura completa y de reserva y capacidad de conformacion al cuerpo; estos ocurrecon las salientes yespecialmente con las alas, y más especialmente conlas alas que están fijadas hacia adentro de los bordes longitidunales del elemento absorbente, proveyendo dichas alas la acumulacion de la zona de laentrepierna de la prenda interior sindisminuir la zona central qu e está disponible para recibir los fluidos del cuerpo.
