Abstract

Dispositivo absorbente y, de manera más particular, dispositivo absorbente que usan las mujeres con el objeto de frenar el flujo menstrual, proteccioncontra la incontinencia, o para ambas cosas. El dispositivo absorbente interlabial constade una parte principal absorbente y un par de extensionesflexibles unidas a la parte principal absorbente. La parte absorbente comprende una porcion superior, y otra inferior opuesta a la superior. En condiciones deuso, la porcion superior se ubicam ás hacia adentro en el espacio que hay entre los labio mayores de la vulva de la usuaria. El par de extensiones flexible seextiende hacia abajo y lateralmente hacia afuera, desde la porcion superior de la parte principal absorbente y, depreferencia , tiene la capacidad demantenerse en contacto con las superficies interiores de los labios mayores de la vulva, cuando el cuerpo de la usuaria realiza una gama de movimientos, entreellos el de ponerse en cuclillas. Asimismo lasextensiones flexibles tienen, de preferencia, la capacidad de cubrir la yema de los dedos de la usuaria cuandoal dispositivo se lo inserta en el espacio interlabial.
