Abstract

Un cierre y traba de seguridad que incluye una cubierta, preferiblemente fundida de zinc que tiene una cámara para recibir un cable de un diámetro de1,6 mm y formado por alambres acordonados, y que es remachado en un extremo de la cubierta ydent ro de la cámara. La cubierta tiene una cavidad conicaen comunicacion con el ambiente que rodea la cubierta por medio de aberturas formadas en los extremos de la misma. Un canal tiene un ancho que equivale aaproximadamente a la mitad deldiámetro d el cable, está formado en la superficie de la cavidad y alineado con la abertura, forma con las mismas unpaso continuo para la introduccion del cable. Un resorte arrollado relativamente débil y un par de bolillas deacero de di ámetro diferente estánalojados en la cavidad conica. El extremo libre del cable es introducido en el paso extendiéndolo a través de la cubierta con una resistencia a laintroduccion mínima por parte de las bolillas y el resorte. Elmovimiento d e extraccion del cable calza las bolillas uniformemente contra el cabledeformándolo y trabando el cable respecto de la cubierta. Cada una de las bolillas impone un esfuerzo uniforme sobre el cable para distribuir elefuerzodel efecto de cuna. E sto reduce la concentracion del esfuerzo que cada bolilla aplica sobre el cable, de modo que la rotura de este ultimo se produceunicamente en presencia de la carga de traccion máxima.
