Se describe una estructura fibrosa colocada en seco para absorber fluidos acuosos y/o para proveer control de olor. La estructura fibrosa comprende unatela colocada en seco y un material en partículas distribuido en tela y están unidos por un material polimérico termoplástico en forma dividida finamentedistribuido dentro de la misma; las estructuras fibrosas son particulamente adecuadas para utilizar en artículos absorbentes desechables.
