Abstract

Para la purificacion biologica de aguas residuales, se utiliza una columna que contiene un reactor UASB (1) en el fondo y un reactor aerobico (2) en laparte superior. Los dos reactores (1; 2) están separados entre sí por medio de una division (12)en la cual se proporcionan aberturas para permitir el pasodel efluente anerobico hacia el reactor aerobico. La division (12) está ubicada a cierta distancia por arriba de los medios de recoleccion de gas (8) con elobjeto de formar un espacio deamort iguacion (13) para el flujo del barro anaerobico. Preferentemente, se instala un aparato de flotacion (3) en elreactor aerobico con el objeto de separar la biomasa del agua purificada.
