Abstract
Compuestos y métodos para inducir inmunidad protectora contra tuberculosis. Los compuestos provistos incluyen polipéptidos que contienenpor lo menos una porcion inmunogénica de una o más proteínas de M.tuberculosis y moléculas de ADN que codifican dichos polipéptidos. Dichos compuestos puedenformularse en vacunas y/o en composiciones farmacéuticas para inmunizacion contra la infeccion causada por M. tuberculosis, o pueden usarse para eldiagnostico de la tuberculosis.Compounds and methods for inducing protective immunity against tuberculosis. The provided compounds include polypeptides containing at least an immunogenic portion of one or more M. tuberculosis proteins and DNA molecules encoding such polypeptides. Said compounds can be formulated in vaccines and / or in pharmaceutical compositions for immunization against infection caused by M. tuberculosis, or they can be used for the diagnosis of tuberculosis.
