Abstract
Se presenta una batería que tiene un controlador incorporado que extiende el tiempo de funcionamiento de la batería. El controlador puede extender eltiempo de funcionamiento de la batería, por ejemplo, convirtiendo la tension de celda a una tensiond e salida que es mayor que una tension de corte de undispositivo electronico, convirtiendo la tension de celda a una tension de salida que es menor que la tension nominal de la celda electroquímica de la batería,o protegiendo la celdaelectroquímica d e los picos de corriente. El controlador puede incluir también un circuito de polarizacion a tierra que suministra unaconexion a tierra virtual de modo que un convertidor pueda funcionar a tensiones de celdas menores. La bateríapuede ser una batería de una sola celda, unabatería universal de una sola celda, una batería de celdas multiples o una batería híbrida de celdas multiples.
