Abstract
Artículos absorbentes que tienen un mejoramiento de la combinacion de la sensacion que producen al ponerse en contacto con la piel y de las propiedades decontrol de fluidos, tales como las adquisicion y retencion de fluidos. La mejora es proporcionada por estructuras en las que el nucleo absorbente tiene unaelevada presion capilar, lo que ayuda a que el nucleo adquiera con rapidez fluidos corporales depositados sobre la superficie del cuerpo del artículoabsorbente y retenga esos flluidos despuésde que los hubiese adquirido. Materiales gelificantes absorbentes con reducido bloqueo de gel son un componente depreferencia para el nucleo, que ayuda a la retencion de fluidos al proporcionar un mecanismo para la retencion de fluidos por osmosis.Las hojas superiorescooperan con el nucleo, al ser tanto permeables a los fluidos como brindar una barrera contra la repeticion de la mojadura por parte de los fluidos adquiridos.La hoja superior también tiene multiplicidad de fibrillas que producenla superficie que da hacia el cuerpo del artículo absorbente. Estas fibrillas estándispuestas en una densidad,y tienen dimensiones y propiedades mecánicas, tales que la superficie que da hacia el cuerpo brinda una sensacion suaveaterciopelada cuandose pone en contacto con la piel. Se aplica en toallas higiénicas, revestimientos interiores para bombachas femeninas, panales,almohadillas, calzoncillos para la incontinencia de adultos, y otros artículos similares.
