Abstract

Una película laminada incluye por lo menos una capa de aluminio y, superpuesta sobre una cara de la misma por laminacion por extrusion, una capade polietileno lineal de baja densidad (B) que se prepara recurriendo al uso de un catalizador de polimerizacion de olefinas con metaloceno y que tieneuna densidad de 0,895 a 0,930 g/cm3 y un índice de fluencia en fusion (190*C) de 0,1 a 100 g/10 min, donde la capa de polietileno lineal de baja densidad en susuperficie, exhibe una concentracion de oxígeno del polietileno lineal de baja densidad en sí mismo que oscila entre 1,0 y 1,4% atomico. La película laminada,que tiene un excelente balance entre la fuerza cohesiva del aluminio, y las propiedades de termosellado de las capas de polietileno linealde bajadensidad, se puede producir a bajo costo. Además, se puede producir también a bajo costo una película laminada que comprende por lo menos la capa depolietileno lineal de baja densidad, la capa de aluminio y una capa sustrato dispuestas en este orden, agregando una o más capas a la película laminadaobtenida por laminacion por extrusion. Esta película laminada es adecuada para utilizar, por ejemplo, como material de envasado para alimentos secos.
