Abstract
Se describe un proceso para preparar naftiridonas de formula I, R1 es bencilo, donde el fenilo del bencilo puede estar sustituido por uno o más de alquiloC1-6, alcoxi C1-6, halogeno, nitro, amino o trifluorometilo, y R2 es alquilo C1-6, trifluorometilo o fenilo, que puede estar sustituido por uno o más alquiloC1-6, alcoxi C1-6 halogeno, nitro, amino o trifluorometilo, que comprende (a)reducir un compuesto de formula II en la que R1 es como se ha definido antes, enpresencia de hierro y un disolvente orgánico en condiciones ácidas, y (b)acilar el compuesto de formula III formado con un agente de formula R2C(O)X, donde R2es como se ha definido. Se describen también procedimientos para preparar intermediarios de síntesis. Los compuestos procedimiento de preparacion se describeson utiles para el tratamiento de enfermedades bacterianas
