Abstract
Se provee una película multilaminar de polietileno de alta densidad (HDPE) que tiene una alta orientacion biaxial. La película incluye un sustrato de HDPE,por lo menos una capa externa de un copolímero de propileno, y por lo menos una capa de un material promotor de adhesion dispuesta entre la capa externa y elsustrato de HDPE para producir eficientemente la adhesion entre las mismas. El promotor de adhesion es preferiblemente un material de polietileno que tiene unadensidad inferior a la del HDPE del sustrato. Los materiales promotores de adhesion preferidos incluyen polietileno de muy baja densidad (VLDPE), polietilenode alta presion y baja densidad (HP-LDPE), polietileno lineal de baja densidad (LLDPE), y polietileno de densidad media (MDPE). La película es altamenteorientada biaxialmente, siendo estirada en la direccion de la máquina en una relacion de 5:1 a 8:1, preferiblemente de 6:1 a 7:1, y estirada en la direcciontransversal en una relacion de 6:1 a 15:1, preferiblemente de 9:1 a 13:1.
