Abstract

Un sistema transportador comprende un par de transportadores en paralelo adaptados para mover artículos como equipaje o carga en direcciones opuestassimultáneamente, preferentemente a la misma altura, los cuales se encuentran vinculados por una cintasinfín. La cinta sinfín es conducida desde la salidade un transportador a la entrada del otro y desde la salida de éste a la entrada del otro por accion de un par de conjuntos de torsion que mantienena la superficie de transporte de equipaje orientada hacia arriba en ambos transportadores. Los conjuntos de torsion pueden emplear rodillos verticalesu horizontales a los efectos de lograr el cambio de direccion de la cinta sinfín. Es posible colocar rodillos guias escalonados debajo de los dostransportadores con propositos de soporte de la cinta y para reducir la vibracion causada por su desplazamiento. El sistema transportador en paraleloresulta particularmente adecuado para configuraciones verticales en tuneles para aeropuertos.
