Abstract
La invencion incluye un proceso para la preparacion de una mezcla de polímero acoplado que comprende calentar una mezcla que contiene (1) una mezcla depolímero que contiene: (A) del 1 al 99 por ciento en peso de uno omás interpolímeros insustancialmente aleatorios de alfa-olefina/monomero de vinilo impedido,habiéndose hecho cada uno a partir de los componentes monoméricos que comprenden: (i) del 0,5 al 75 por ciento molar de cualquiera de: a) cuando menos unmonomero aromático de vinilo, o b) cuando menos un monomero de vinilo alifático impedido, o c) una combinacion de cuando menos un monomero aromático de viniloy cuando menos un monomero alifático impedido; y (2) del 35 al 99.5 por ciento molar de cuando menos una alfa-olefina que tiene de2 a 20 átomos de carbono; y(B) del 99 al 1 por ciento en peso de uno o más omopolímeros o copolímeros hechos a partir de los componentes monoméricos que comprenden alfa-olefinasalifáticas que tienen de 2 a 20 átomos de carbono, o alfa-olefinas alifáticas que tienen de 2 a 20 átomos de carbono, y que contienen grupos polares; y (2) unacantidad de acoplamiento de cuando menos una poli(sulfonilazida) hasta cuando menos la temperatura de descomposicion de la poli(sulfonilazida) durante unperíodo suficiente para la descomposicion de cuando menos el 80 por ciento en peso de la poli(sulfonilazida), y suficiente como para dar como resultado unamezcla polimérica acoplada que tiene menos del 2 por ciento en peso de gel.
