Abstract

El método utiliza substratos primero y segundo que tienen superficies coincidentes primera y segunda y una capa intermedia adhesiva de espesor uniforme eimplica colocar una pluralidad de calzos entre los substratos primer y segundo antes de lalamina cion. Se anade una composicion adhesiva no solida a al menosuna de las superficies coincidentes, se llevan juntas dichas superficies coincidentes espaciadas de forma uniforme por los calzos y se endurece el adhesivo. Sepreparan con estemétodo dispos itivos electro-opticos, tales como lentes electrocromicas. Por ejemplo una lente electrocromica laminada que contiene calzostriangulares equilaterales de aproximadamente 14 milésimas y una capa de polímero de conduccion de iones,contiene películas f inas de IN2O3: SnO2 (oxido deestano indio, o ITO) y oxido de iridio y una segunta lente que contiene películas finas de ITO y oxido de tungsteno. Los calzos se colocaron sobre gotitas deadhesivo no solido y se endurecieronutilizando luz UV.para ase gurarlos. Se lleno el espacio con un adhesivo no solido endurecible para proporcionar una capaintermedia de 0,25 mm. El conjunto se endurecio con la luz UV. El espesor desde el centro hasta el borde midio +/-0,025 mm conun espesor de la capa interme diade 0,25 mm.
