Abstract

En una red inalámbrica fija, tal como una red de bucle local inalámbrico (WLL), se revela un método para mejorar el procedimiento de establecimiento dellamada. El método incluye detectar cuándo un llamador descuelga el receptor del aparato telefonicoy donde, en respuesta se genera un tono de discado simuladoen el receptor del aparato telefonico. Cuando el llamador ingresa un numero telefonico de la parte llamada, se compara una secuencia de los primeros tresdigitos, por ejemplo, con una lista predeterminada de secuencias almacenada en una tabla de busqueda. La longitud del numero telefonico se identifica haciendocoincidir la secuencia con su longitud relacionada en la tabla de busqueda antes de concluir el discado. El procedimiento de establecimiento de llamada seinicia enviando los dígitos ingresados al centro de conmutacion a los efectos de su procesamiento inmediatamente después de ingresarle el ultimo dígito. El procedimento de establecimiento de llamada de la presente invencion, cuando se halla una coincidencia, permite el uso eficientedel espectro radial, al no requerir una conexion inmediata con la central durante el discado, liberando de ese modo potencialmente la capacidad de la red. The call establishment procedure is initiated by sending the digits entered to the switching center for the purpose of processing immediately after entering the last digit. In a first embodiment, if a matching sequence is not found, a timeout procedure is performed to determine when the last digit has been entered and to initiate the establishment of the call. In a second embodiment, an alternative connection to the exchange is established when no sequence is found. The procedure for establishing the call of the present invention, when a match is found, allows the efficient use of the radio spectrum, as it does not require an immediate connection to the exchange during dialing, thereby potentially freeing up the network capacity. Moreover, the method eliminates the need for the caller to press the send key at the end of the dialing, making the calling experience separate more from the traditional wireline service.
