Abstract

Material laminado (1) con una dimension en el plano y una direccion en espesor perpendicular a la dimension en el plano, la cual incluye una primeracapa de material fibroso permeable al líquido (2) y una segunda capa de material permeabl e allíquido (3), porosa y elástica, presentando al menos unade dichas capas de material (2, 3) un material termoplástico, y estando las dos capas de material (2, 3) mutuamente vinculadas en el material laminado quepresenta sitios de union (4) dentro delos cuales el material termoplástico ha sido al menos parcialmente ablandado o fundido, ligando en consecuencia las dos capas de material (2, 3). Las áreas de union están dispuestas en dos o más grupos (5) con al menos dos sitios de union (4 ) encada grupo (5), siendo lamayor distancia relativa entre dos sitios de union (4), los cuales están ubicados en forma adyacente uno con otro en un grupo particular (5), menor quela distancia más corta entre dicho grupo (5) y su grupo adyace nte máscercano, como resultado de lo cual el material laminado presenta áreas libres de uniones(6) entre los sitios de union (4) que se encuentran dentro de cada grupo de uniones (5), las cuales tienen una mayor densidad que las áreas libres de uniones(9) del material laminado, las cuales se encuentran ubicadas entre los grupos de uniones (5). Un producto absorbente contiene dicho material laminado,como capa exterior permeable al líquido y como capa de transferencia de líquido, permeable allíquido.
