Abstract

Un dispositivo plástico transportador para transportar una pluralidad de recipientes, tales como botellas, latas y similares, que tiene porciones que seunen a los recipientes; cada una de éstas se forma de una hoja de material plástico e incluye bandas que definen aberturas para unirse a las paredeslaterales de los recipientes para formar un paquete. Cada porción que se une a los recipientes tiene un margen superior y márgenes laterales opuestos. Seforma una porción en los márgenes superiores al unir entre sí los márgenes superiores para unir las porciones que se unen a los recipientes entre sí, deforma tal que las porciones se extienden libremente hacia abajo de la porción unida. Se proporciona unaporción de hendidura sobre los márgenes laterales de cada una de las porciones que se unen a los recipientes, y se proyecta hacia abajo de la porción unidapara amortiguar la cantidad de esfuerzo sobre los extremos de la porciónunida cuando las bandas se estiran sobre los recipientes mediante una máquinaestiradora de aberturas.
