Abstract

Estospol ímeros de etileno combinan ventajosamente una claridad y resistencia superiores con bajo contenido de extractables ymayor facilidad de procesamiento. Además, se proveen películas, revestimientos de extrusión, aislaciones para alambres ycables, ca misas para alambres ycables, aislaciones reticuladas para cables de energía, artículos moldeados, camisas aislantes, camisas semiconductoras y blindajes que comprenden dichopolímeri de etileno.Ethylene polymers with a Polydispersity index between 2 and 4 are provided; a fusion index, IF, and Relaxation Spectrum Index, IER, such that (IER) IF (exp.0.6) is between 2.5 and 6.5; c) a Crystallizable Chain Length Distribution Index, L (w) / L (n) comprised between 1.0 and 9; and d) a density, rho, and percent optical clarity when manufactured into films such that the percent optical clarity is less than 370 rho-330. These ethylene polymers advantageously combine superior clarity and strength with low extractables content and greater ease of processing. In addition, films, extrusion coatings, insulations for wires and cables, sleeves for wires and cables, crosslinked insulations for power cables, molded articles, insulating jackets, semiconductor jackets and shields comprising ethylene dichopolymeri are provided.
